Remi Zvezda and Novi Pazar at the title festivity in Belgrade



The Red Star football players played a 2:2 draw against Novi Pazar this evening on their field in Belgrade, in the last match of the 37th round of the Super Class of Serbia. The Star praised coming out on top for the 34th title this evening at the "Rajko Mitić" arena before around 20,000 observers.


Zvezda started to lead the pack in the 53rd moment with an objective by Gelor Kanga, who shook the net from 15 meters, after a pass from Irakli Azarov.


Novi Pazar balanced in the 60th moment with a delightful objective by Miljan Momčilović from the edge of the punishment region.


Zvezda started to lead the pack again in the 72nd moment with an objective by Stefan Leković, helped by Kanga, and after three minutes Slobodan Stanojlović balanced and set the last score.


The match was interfered with for around 10 minutes toward the end because of firecrackers.


The red and whites came out on top for the 6th successive championship, and the third sequential "twofold crown".


Zvezda completed the season as the main undefeated group in the association, with 97 places and will play in the Bosses Association next season.


The group was driven by Miloš Milojević from the seat for the last time this evening, as from Monday the new Zvezda mentor will be the Israeli Barak Bahar.


The previous mentor of Makbi from Haifa will be introduced on Monday at 1 pm.


TSC from Backa Topola, who came in just short of the leader yesterday, will go from the Super Association to the Heroes Association qualifiers, while the third-set Čukarički will play in the end of the season games for the Europa Association.


Partizan and Vojvodina will play in the qualifiers for the Meeting Association as fourth and fifth spot.


Mladost GAT and Kolubara were wiped out from the association, and Radnički from Niš and Radnik from Surdulica will play in the season finisher for endurance.


Radnički will play against Inđija, and Radnik will play against Grafičar.


IMT and Železničar from Pancevo entered the Super Association from the Primary Class of Serbia.
