"We are disheartened to report a mishap at the BFPP2 power plant because of departure of steam at Goodbye Steel Meramandali Works in Dhenkanal, Odisha," Goodbye Steel said in the explanation.
The plant's premises have been cordoned off and crisis administrations have been actuated, the organization said.
"The mishap happened at 1 pm today throughout the review work and has impacted not many individuals working at the site, who were quickly moved to the word related wellbeing place inside the plant premises and afterward to Cuttack for additional treatment, as a prudent step, in the organization's rescue vehicle, joined by specialist and paramedics," Goodbye Steel said.
Goodbye Steel said it has reached the relatives of the impacted workers and is supporting them.
"We are working intimately with applicable experts on ground and have started an inward examination to find out the reason for the mishap. Wellbeing remains our first concern and we're focused on gaining from this episode. We will share refreshes as and when more subtleties are free," Goodbye Steel said.
